Police Unity Tour 2008

CHAPTER 37 TO CO-HOST POLICE UNITY TOUR 2008 KICK-OFF CEREMONY

Chapter 37 and the Jersey City Police Department are the 2008 Police Untiy Tour Kick-Off co-hosts. This year's Kick-Off Ceremony will take place on Friday, May 9, 2008 at Liberty State Park, Jersey City, NJ. The Ceremony, which will begin around 11 am, will include guest speakers, a Bar-B-Que lunch and the 2008 Police Unity Tour riders and support staff.
Prior to the Kick-Off Ceremony Chapter 37 will continue its tradition of holding a September 11, 2001 World Trade Center Memorial, at the Workd Trade Center site, to honor the 72 law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty that day.
After the World Trade Center Memorial service the Chapter 37 riders will ride to the Hudson River, board ferries crossing the Hudson and arrive at Liberty State Park for the Kick-Off Ceremony.
